Why Our Crab Tastes Different

Every pot of crab meat is carefully hand-picked in Devon, either by our own team in Bovey Tracey or by a trusted specialist crab company in Brixham. Using crabs landed locally, it is a slow and labour-intensive process, but it is the best way to protect the quality, freshness and flavour our customers expect. We believe great crab simply cannot be rushed.

A Devon Fishmonger, Doing It Properly

Forty years of fishmongering, two generations running the business and a third learning the ropes. From sourcing fresh fish at Brixham market to preparing orders by hand in Bovey Tracey, we believe in doing things properly.

That includes how we deliver, using recyclable cardboard, sheep's wool insulation and reusable ice packs. Every decision is made with freshness, quality and sustainability in mind.
