Planning your Christmas seafood? Here is everything you need to know about our Christmas 2026 delivery dates, charges and product availability.

Christmas Delivery Dates 2026

Our usual Wednesday to Saturday delivery schedule continues until Saturday 19 December, with the following important dates:

Please note: Every delivery date has a limited number of available spaces. Once a date is fully booked, it will no longer appear as an option at checkout.

Christmas Delivery Charges

Our normal delivery rates apply until Saturday 19 December. An additional Christmas delivery surcharge of £4.95 applies to deliveries on Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 December.

The additional Christmas delivery charge helps cover the increased costs of delivering during this exceptionally busy period. All delivery charges are clearly displayed at checkout before payment.

Products Not Available During Christmas Week

This includes selected fish boxes, such as our Mixed Fish Box and White Fish Box, along with any other products marked with an earlier Christmas delivery date.

We have introduced these restrictions because some products require additional sourcing and preparation, which may not be practical during the busiest days immediately before Christmas.

How can I check a product's final delivery date?

Look for the Christmas delivery notice displayed above the product name on our website:

Products marked as available until Wednesday 23 December can be ordered for the later Christmas delivery dates, subject to stock and delivery availability.

Ordering products with different delivery deadlines? If you need items with an earlier cut-off as well as products for Christmas week, please place separate orders and select the appropriate delivery date for each.

Christmas Delivery FAQs

When should I place my Christmas order?

As early as possible! Christmas delivery dates have limited capacity, particularly Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 December. You can order in advance and select your preferred available delivery date at checkout.

Can I order in November for delivery at Christmas?

Absolutely. You can order now and select an available December delivery date during checkout. Your fresh fish will be sourced and prepared for your chosen delivery day.

Why is there an additional Christmas delivery charge?

The days immediately before Christmas are among the busiest of the year for courier services. An additional £4.95 charge applies on Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 December to help cover the extra costs associated with these peak delivery dates.

Can I order any product for 23 December?

Not every product. Some items have an earlier final delivery date of Friday 18 December. Please check the Christmas delivery notice on each product page before ordering.

Will my fish arrive fresh?

Yes. Our fresh fish is sourced and prepared to order for your selected delivery date, rather than sitting in stock waiting to be dispatched. We carefully pack your seafood with insulated packaging and chilled gel packs to keep it cool during transit.

What if my delivery is delayed?

Although delays are uncommon, Christmas is an especially busy time for courier networks. Our insulated packaging is designed to maintain chilled conditions for up to 48 hours. We recommend tracking your order through the DPD app and arranging for someone to bring your parcel inside as soon as possible.

Can I freeze my fish until Christmas?

Many of our fresh fish products are suitable for home freezing, making an earlier delivery a convenient option. Please check the individual product information and freeze suitable products on the day of delivery. Always follow the storage and use-by instructions on the packaging.

Will I receive a delivery time?

DPD normally provides a one-hour delivery window on the morning of delivery. We recommend downloading the DPD app to track your parcel and receive delivery updates. Please note that delivery times are estimates and can be affected by seasonal demand.
