Tender, salty and full of flavour, these Norfolk whelks are preserved in extra virgin olive oil infused with chilli and garlic. The natural flavour of the shellfish is still very much the focus, with the chilli and garlic bringing warmth and depth.
Enjoy them straight from the tin with good bread, serve as part of a seafood sharing board, or spoon over warm rice and let the infused olive oil become part of the dish. Simple ingredients and very little preparation needed.
Sustainably harvested from the Norfolk coast and produced by Sea Sisters at their craft cannery in Dorset. Each 110g tin contains whelks preserved with extra virgin olive oil, chilli, garlic and salt.
