Product Description

Delicate, sweet and with a fine, tender texture, lemon sole is one of the most approachable flat fish in British waters. Lighter than Dover sole and quicker to cook, it is an elegant choice for a simple supper or something a little more considered.

This is a fish that suits gentle treatment. Pan-fry the fillets in butter for a soft, golden result, or cook whole on the bone for a more flavourful finish. It cooks quickly and needs very little embellishment. A squeeze of lemon, a little brown butter and good bread alongside is often all it takes.

Our lemon sole is sourced through Brixham Fish Market, landed fresh from the South West coast. Prepared to order by our fishmongers, with nothing sitting in stock, and sent out fresh on your chosen delivery day. Always fresh and never previously frozen, so you can freeze it at home if needed.
