What to Expect

Your 1-hour delivery window

On the morning of your delivery day, DPD will send you a 1-hour time slot by text or email, along with a tracking link so you can follow your order right to the door.

Not going to be in?

DPD will leave your order in a safe place or with a neighbour. Our packaging keeps your fish below 5°C for up to 48 hours, so a few hours on the doorstep is absolutely fine.

Keeping it fresh in transit

Your fish is vacuum packed and packed with chilled gel packs inside a recyclable cardboard box with a natural wool insulation liner. No polystyrene.

Shelf life & freezing

Every item arrives with a use-by date on the label. Most products keep well in the fridge for several days. You can also freeze on the day of delivery and use within three months.

We can deliver to the UK mainland via DPD next-day tracked delivery.

Delivery FAQs

How is your seafood delivered?

All orders are packed in branded cardboard boxes using eco-friendly wool insulation and reusable ice packs to help maintain a chilled temperature during delivery.

Each product is vacuum packed and labelled individually for freshness and convenience. Our packaging is specifically designed for fresh seafood delivery and is used for orders sent across mainland UK.

Is your fish packed fresh to order?

Yes - we do not hold large quantities of pre-prepared stock. Most seafood is sourced and prepared specifically for customer orders based on the selected delivery date.

This allows us to offer exceptionally fresh seafood, carefully prepared and dispatched close to delivery.

Can I choose my delivery day?

Yes - customers choose their preferred delivery date during checkout using our delivery calendar.

Nationwide deliveries are available Wednesday to Saturday. Customers can also upgrade to DPD morning delivery or Saturday delivery for an additional £4.95 where available.

Will my fish stay cold during delivery?

Yes - our packaging is designed to keep seafood at a safe chilled temperature throughout delivery.

While courier delays are rare, our insulated packaging has been carefully tested to help protect products during unexpected delays. We regularly carry out packaging tests throughout the year, including during warmer weather, to ensure our seafood delivery packaging performs reliably in changing temperatures.

Can I freeze the fish when it arrives?

Yes - all of our fresh fish is suitable for home freezing.

Products are delivered fresh with clear storage guidance included on the label. For best results, freeze on the day of delivery and use within 3 months.

How do I track my delivery?

Once your order has been dispatched, DPD will send tracking updates by email or text message, including your estimated delivery time slot.

We strongly recommend downloading the DPD app, as it provides the most accurate tracking information and delivery notifications. The app allows customers to track their parcel in real time, update delivery preferences, and receive confirmation once the parcel has been delivered.

As fresh seafood is perishable, customers should ensure deliveries are brought inside and refrigerated as soon as possible after arrival.

Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver fresh seafood across most of mainland UK using DPD tracked delivery services.

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to the Scottish Highlands, Highlands & Islands, or certain remote postcode areas due to transit time limitations.

What happens if my delivery is delayed?

Courier delays are uncommon, but our packaging is designed with this in mind. The insulated boxes, wool liners and chilled ice packs help maintain safe temperatures beyond the standard overnight delivery window where required.

Our seafood delivery packaging is regularly tested throughout the year and is designed to keep products at a safe chilled temperature for up to 48 hours in transit.
