At Hamiltons Fish, we're committed to providing the highest quality fresh seafood, prepared to order and delivered with care.

30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery on eligible non-perishable items (such as kitchenware, gift cards purchased in error where unused, or any non-food products). To initiate a return, contact us at info@hamiltonsfish.co.uk within 30 days of receiving your order.

Perishable Goods — No Returns

Due to the nature of fresh seafood and applicable health and safety regulations, all perishable items are exempt from our returns policy. This includes:

  • Fresh fish and seafood
  • Smoked products
  • Cooked or prepared items
  • Made-to-order boxes

Under UK consumer law, perishable goods are also exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period that applies to distance sales.

Problems With Your Order

If there's an issue with your order — damaged goods, a missing item, or something not as described — please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at info@hamiltonsfish.co.uk. Where possible, include a photograph.

Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement, refund, or credit at our discretion.

Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return regardless of category:

  • Gift cards (once redeemed)
  • Sale items
  • Custom or personalised orders

Refunds

Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 3 business days. Your bank may take additional time to reflect this. If you haven't received your refund within 15 working days, please contact us at info@hamiltonsfish.co.uk.
