Godminster Black Truffle Howling Hound Cheddar is an indulgent, gourmet cheddar crafted in the South West of England. Made in Somerset using Godminster’s iconic Vintage Bruton Beauty, it is blended with real European black truffles for a rich, deeply savoury flavour and unmistakable aroma.

Why it’s special: This award-winning organic cheddar is infused with authentically hunted black truffles, delivering an elegant balance of earthy umami and smooth, creamy cheddar. The result is a bold yet refined cheese that adds instant impact to any dish.

Quality & versatility: Made using pasteurised organic milk and certified by the Soil Association, this cheese contains no artificial preservatives and is suitable for vegetarians. A standout on cheeseboards, it’s also exceptional melted into risottos, pasta, toasties or served simply sliced.

We deliver to UK mainland addresses. Please note that delivery excludes the Scottish Highlands, islands, and other remote locations.

Can I choose my delivery date?

Yes — at checkout, you can choose your preferred delivery date. We offer nationwide delivery Wednesday to Saturday and click & collect from our Bovey Tracey site.

How are orders packed?

All orders are carefully packed to ensure they arrive in excellent condition. Fresh seafood is packed using recyclable chilled packaging, while pantry items are securely wrapped in paper for delivery.

Can I order pantry items on their own?

Yes. Pantry items such as salts and sauces can be ordered on their own or added to a seafood order, subject to our minimum order value.
