September Fish Box is the first in our new monthly series, each one featuring a curated selection of seasonal seafood. Available for a limited time only, this box showcases some of the finest British fish and shellfish, freshly prepared to order and never previously frozen.

Why it’s special: Sourced through Brixham Fish Market and trusted suppliers, every product is hand-selected for quality and flavour. The September box includes:

  • Fresh Wild Bass (700g–1kg) – firm, flavoursome, and perfect roasted whole or cooked over coals.
  • Fresh Wild Turbot (700g–1kg) – a highly prized flatfish with delicate flesh, often considered the king of fish.
  • Handpicked Dressed Crab (200g) – sweet white meat and rich brown meat, prepared in the shell and ready to enjoy.

Quality & versatility: Each box is freshly prepared by our skilled fishmongers, offering a mix of premium whole fish and ready-to-eat crab. With flavours ranging from delicate to rich, it is designed to provide a restaurant-quality experience at home.

Exceptionally fresh. We buy to order, prepare the fish on the day of dispatch, and pack it with eco-friendly insulation and frozen gel packs to keep it perfectly chilled for your chosen delivery day.

Is this fish sustainably caught?

We support sustainable fishing methods by working closely with day boats and trusted suppliers who use traditional techniques like line-catching and trawling. Most of our fish is landed at Brixham and sourced fresh to order. Learn more about our sustainability practices.

I have been trying to get seafood, in particular crab, delivered fresh for a very long time. All suppliers deliver pre-frozen products sold legally as fresh. Having spent a lot of my childhood on the south coast I know the vast difference in flavour between the two. When the delivery arrived I was absolutely delighted with the dressed crab and crab meat pots. The entire order was top quality (plaice, sardines, bass). I cannot recommend Hamiltons enough and will be using them on a regular basis from now.
