Product Description
Sweet, tender and full of natural flavour, Royal Greenland Cooked Peeled Prawns are a versatile seafood favourite. Already cooked and peeled, they are ready to enjoy once defrosted, making them perfect for everything from traditional prawn cocktails to quick lunches and easy suppers.
Serve chilled with Marie Rose sauce and crisp lettuce for a classic prawn cocktail, add to sandwiches with lemon and mayonnaise, or scatter over fresh salads. They're equally good folded through pasta, stirred into a creamy sauce or added to a seafood risotto towards the end of cooking.
Supplied by Royal Greenland, these prawns arrive with us frozen and are dispatched frozen to preserve their quality. They may begin to defrost during delivery, but our insulated packaging helps keep them chilled throughout their journey.

Yes. The prawns are already cooked and peeled, so no further cooking is required. Simply defrost thoroughly before serving cold in prawn cocktails, salads or sandwiches. They can also be added to hot dishes towards the end of cooking.
Will my prawns arrive frozen?
Our prawns are dispatched frozen in insulated packaging with chilled gel packs. However, they may begin to defrost during delivery. This is normal, and they should still arrive suitably chilled for safe storage and consumption.
Can I freeze the prawns when they arrive?
If your prawns arrive still partially frozen, they can be placed straight back into the freezer, provided they have remained properly chilled during delivery. If they arrive fully defrosted, we recommend keeping them refrigerated and consuming them within 3 days rather than refreezing.
How should I store my cooked peeled prawns?
If fully defrosted, place the prawns in the refrigerator immediately and consume within 3 days, or sooner if the packaging specifies. If partially frozen, return them promptly to the freezer. Always follow the manufacturer's storage instructions.
