Product Description
Rich, deeply flavoured and ready to eat straight from the pack, smoked mackerel is one of the most satisfying things you can have in the fridge. Smoked in house over hardwood, the natural oils in the fish take on the smoke beautifully, giving a full, rounded flavour without any artificial additions.
Flake it over a warm salad with beetroot and horseradish, fold it through kedgeree, blend it into a smooth pâté with cream cheese and lemon, or simply eat it on good bread with a little mustard. It needs no cooking and very little preparation. One of those ingredients that makes a meal feel considered with almost no effort.
Our smoked mackerel is made from fresh mackerel sourced from trusted British suppliers, smoked to order in house by our team. With nothing sitting in stock, it is sent out fresh on your chosen delivery day. Always fresh and never previously frozen, so you can freeze it at home if needed.
Serve simply on rye bread with cream cheese, sliced cucumber and a squeeze of lemon.
