Are these prawns fresh or frozen?

Our prawns are not locally caught, so they arrive to us frozen. We prepare the skewers fresh to order, and they are delivered to you defrosted, ready to cook.

Can I refreeze these prawns?

No. As they are delivered defrosted, they should not be refrozen. Please keep refrigerated below 5°C and use within 2 days.

How should I cook the kebabs?

The skewers are ready to place straight on the barbecue or under the grill. Simply cook until they are piping hot throughout.

Can I choose my delivery day?

Yes — you can select your preferred delivery date at checkout. We deliver nationwide Wednesday to Saturday, offer local delivery every Thursday, and also provide click & collect from our Bovey Tracey HQ.

I have been trying to get seafood, in particular crab, delivered fresh for a very long time. All suppliers deliver pre-frozen products sold legally as fresh. Having spent a lot of my childhood on the south coast I know the vast difference in flavour between the two. When the delivery arrived I was absolutely delighted with the dressed crab and crab meat pots. The entire order was top quality (plaice, sardines, bass). I cannot recommend Hamiltons enough and will be using them on a regular basis from now.
