Wild Huss, also known as rock salmon or dogfish, is a traditional British favourite with a firm texture and mild flavour. Landed fresh through Brixham Fish Market, it is prepared to order and delivered in perfect condition, never previously frozen.

Why it’s special: Selected directly from the Brixham Market auction, our huss is carefully sourced from day boats fishing the South West coast. Its firm, meaty & holds together beautifully during cooking, making it a reliable and versatile choice.

I have been trying to get seafood, in particular crab, delivered fresh for a very long time. All suppliers deliver pre-frozen products sold legally as fresh. Having spent a lot of my childhood on the south coast I know the vast difference in flavour between the two. When the delivery arrived I was absolutely delighted with the dressed crab and crab meat pots. The entire order was top quality (plaice, sardines, bass). I cannot recommend Hamiltons enough and will be using them on a regular basis from now.
