Crab Linguine with a Zesty Twist

This crab linguine is a simple yet elegant pasta dish that lets the natural sweetness of white crab meat shine. Infused with lemon, chilli, garlic and herbs, it’s light, fresh and full of flavour — perfect for a quick midweek meal or summer dinner party.

Ingredients

  • 200g linguine
  • 150g handpicked white crab meat
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 small red chilli, finely chopped (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper

Method

  1. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve a cup of the cooking water before draining.
  2. In a large pan, gently heat the olive oil and cook the garlic and chilli for 1–2 minutes.
  3. Add the crab meat, lemon zest and juice. Stir gently to warm through without breaking up the crab.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the pan with a splash of reserved water to loosen the sauce. Toss everything together.
  5. Season to taste and finish with chopped herbs before serving.

Serving Suggestion
